Set in 40 acres on the edge of the village of Magheralin, with views of mature gardens and green fields, our lovingly restored 18th century home offers peace and tranquillity. A warm welcome and beautiful rooms, blending family antiques with contemporary luxuries, await you. Sit back, relax, and let us serve you drinks by the open fire in our cosy drawing-room; sample delicious seasonal cooking; stroll around our gardens, or take woodland walks along the shores of Lough Neagh, just a few minutes drive away.
With only six bedrooms, Newforge offers an intimate home-from-home experience and is the perfect spot for a romantic break. First-class food is central to our offer. Our food not only reflects the elegant simplicity of our Georgian country house and gardens but incorporates flavours from our own kitchen garden and surrounding fields. For breakfast, and in our daily changing dinner menu, you will find homegrown fruits and vegetables, and eggs from the chickens in our orchard, together with carefully chosen local produce.
Newforge is centrally located in Northern Ireland and well-positioned as a base for exploring Belfast and the whole of the province. The M1 is just two miles away and both Belfast airports and the ferry terminal are no more than a 30 minutes drive. Golf, fishing and water sports are all available nearby.
